Maryland Home and Garden Show returns after hiatus | Culture & Leisure

Spring is home improvement and landscaping season, and expert contractors will soon be inundated with calls from homeowners looking to upgrade their indoor and outdoor spaces. Get a head start at the Maryland Home and Garden Show where hundreds of home improvement exhibitors will be waiting for you. Talk to them in person and find out how they can make your home more welcoming, efficient and fashionable.

The Spring Fair is known for its garden exhibits, and 10 landscapers will showcase their artistry and creativity with this year’s theme, The Painted Garden. Taking inspiration from a painting or incorporating art into their exhibit, they will present creations of plants, water features, dining rooms and stones that they can bring to your garden.

The weekend of March 11-13 the show will feature the annual Maryland Orchid Society Exhibit and Sale. Explore award-winning orchid displays, meet orchid experts, then shop your favorites to beautify your home.

Visitors can also shop from over 125 hand-picked artisan artists to find a unique gift or add an artisan touch to their home decor.

The show will also feature Maryland wineries offering free tastings with bottles available for purchase, a petting zoo for children and free giveaways of flower bouquets every hour.
