In this fun, multi-faceted role, you’re responsible for assisting the General Manager with the day-to-day activities of our cafe and retail store operations, as well as representing our aesthetic online while showcasing our products and services. This includes supervising staff; fostering a culture of personal responsibility and fun, solving day-to-day problems, managing cash flow, visual merchandising and creating an exceptional customer experience as well as managing our Instagram platform!

Supervisor tasks:
● Team Leadership and Oversight – setting the standard for providing exceptional customer service and embracing The Garden’s core values, leading your team by example, giving feedback and coaching in the moment
● Help train new hires and provide ongoing educational and practical support to the team
● Perform cash opening and closing, including completing closing notes and reports
● Assist the Manager with monthly inventory reports
● Create a positive work environment that motivates the team and inspires them to succeed
● Help oversee the daily operations of the cafe
● Ensure excellent communication between the FOH and BOH teams
● Responsible for and oversee the execution of all deliverables on the daily checklists and assume the responsibilities of a Barista & Retail Associate as required
● Implement and delegate daily/weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning tasks
● Event Liaison – point of contact for events, cleanup and space reset. Assist the Manager in visiting event locations and responding to event inquiries

Social Media Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:
● You create and post content to The Garden’s Instagram account on a weekly basis. This includes: reels, stories, etc. Featuring coffee and retail products as well as our studio event space.
● You respond to DMs and interact with guests via comments, likes, Q&As, polls, etc.
