Cold-pressed juice chain Pressed opens new store in Sugar Land

The store, which is located at 15850 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land, offers a range of plant-based treats, including cold-pressed juices, smoothies, non-dairy milks, shots, smoothie bowls and vegan ice cream. . This is the chain’s fourth location in the Houston area.

“Texas is our second largest market and we decided to expand into Sugar Land to further our mission of making real, healthy food accessible to everyone,” said Kathleen Rogers, vice president of retail at Pressed. “We received great feedback from our other Houston area locations and jumped at the chance to bring our plant-based products to the Sugar Land community!”

The average cost for a squeezed juice (450ml) is $6.75 or $5 for VIP members. Shots are $3.50 each or $3 for VIP members. Jellies and smoothie bowls vary in size and topping choices. Delivery is available to customers who live within an eight to ten mile radius of the Sugar Land store. Domestic shipping and online order pickup are also available.

The brand was founded as “Pressed Juicery” by three friends in 2010.

Pressed’s ingredients come from farms and orchards close to where its products are made, Rogers said, with minimal downtime between harvest and pressing.

“We use the most advanced cold pressing technology available and are committed to a three-day farm-to-bottle process,” Rogers said. “In addition to our cold-pressed juices, we offer a variety of smoothies, wellness shots, plant milks, protein bowls and plant-based soft drinks. We continue to expand our product portfolio and have more innovations to be released throughout the year.

Pressed offers more than 40 varieties of cold-pressed juices in four categories: citrus and fruits, greens, lemonades and roots.

“Our top sellers are our Greens 2, Citrus 1 and Roots 3 juices,” Rogers said. “Our herbal jelly is also a popular item for many of our customers. The response from Sugar Land residents has been tremendous. We held a grand opening event on February 12 and enjoyed being welcomed into community We look forward to continued community involvement as we continue to settle.

Pressed has three other stores in Rice Village, The Woodlands and Heights Mercantile.
